Types of Pools We Offer
Vinyl pools offer an affordable price and a number of styles and shapes. The pool walls are built with 10 inches of rebar reinforced concrete, and covered with a layer of 1/4” foam padding to protect the liner from the concrete wall. The bottom is a vermiculite base, which yields a sturdy but nonabrasive surface for the vinyl liner. The final product is not only structurally sound but exceeds industry standards required for vinyl lined pools.
Vinyl pools can often be built in less than 6 weeks and are offered in traditional Rectangle or Grecian shapes as well as a Lazy L and a True L shape. With proper water chemistry and care, the vinyl liner will last an average of 8-10 years. Standard items on vinyl pools include an Automatic Chlorinator, Superflo Pump, and an Overflow System, just to name a few, with many other options available.
Pete Alewine Pools partners with fiberglass pool manufacturers that produce the highest quality pool shells in the industry. These pools are crafted in state of the art facilities and offer design features like benches, tanning ledges, beach entries and even built in spas that aren’t available in vinyl pools. You choose the shape, size, color, and features that fit your needs and we will deliver the pool directly to your home from the manufacturer.
Fiberglass pools can be a good option for smaller yards where space is limited. With proper water chemistry and care you can extend the life and appearance of your pool shell for decades. Many items considered upgrades for our vinyl pools are already included in a fiberglass pool package. These include a Variable Speed Pump, Cartridge Filter, Salt Chlorine Generator and brick coping.
Shotcrete/Concrete swimming pools offer limitless design capabilities which speaks to our mantra, If you can Imagine It, We can Build It. Grottos, beach entries, lazy rivers, and built-in spas are all possibilities. These pool packages come with many of our upgrades already included! Variable Speed Pump, Cartridge Filter, Salt Chlorine Generator, and an App Based Pool Control are just a few.

What am I responsible for as a pool customer?
As the homeowner, your responsibilities before we get started are: providing access to your property, choosing your pool design and features and securing any necessary HOA approvals if required. After the pool is complete, your responsibilities include: fencing, landscaping and irrigation repairs.
